Two presentations were devoted to the Exhibitium Project in the annual Digital Humanities Conference organized by the ADHO, held this year in Cracow.

In the morning of Wednesday, 13th July, the Expofinder system was presented during one of the short paper sessions. Expofinder is the technological infrastructure developed purposely for this project, which allow us to automatically capture digital information about art exhibitions from more than 12.000 web sources. The Expofinder system also includes functionalities for data filtering, cleaning and structuring, according to the data model designed for the project.
During the presentation, it was specially emphasized the combination of algorithms and heuristic systems that make possible the intelligent capture of information, as well as their semi-automated structuring.

The same day it was also presented the poster devoted to show the first results obtained from the analysis of data recorded in Expofinded. Some of the visualizations created through the use of network analysis, co-word analysis and clustering hierarchies strategies could be examined on the poster by the participants, who were interested in the future applications of those results to produce strategic knowledge for the art exhibition sector.
